Overview

Diriyah, founded in 1446, served as the capital of the first Saudi state and is considered the cultural and historical heartland of the Kingdom. The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) was established in 2017 to oversee the transformation of this area into a 14-square-kilometre mixed-use destination.

The Significance of Diriyah
